ABOUT

I knew from an early age that I wanted to be a psychiatrist. My father is a Consultant Psychiatrist in the NHS and I was always intrigued by and drawn towards mental health. I am privileged that after becoming a Consultant Psychiatrist I was the recipient of mentoring and guidance from the legendary psychiatrist Dr Jeremy Pfeffer whose rooms I have inherited and whose wisdom I continue to benefit from.

I am a graduate of the Royal Free & University College London Medical School, where I completed my training in General Adult Psychiatry. I also have an International Health BSc from University College London and an MBA from Imperial College, London.

I currently work as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Adult ADHD Clinic for CNWL NHS Foundation Trust. I consult privately at Pinero House, Harley Street and have admitting privileges for inpatient care at the Nightingale Hospital, Marylebone.

I am an experienced psychiatrist, and care about working with young people experiencing emotional challenges on the threshold of adulthood. I was a trustee of Camden Spear Trust, a youth charity for 8 years.

At all times, my intentions are:

• to provide a patient-centred, evidence-based service, enabling excellent care

• to implement critically-assessed innovation for healthcare in the 21st century

• Anxiety disorders including generalised anxiety disorder, obsessional compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder, (PTSD) and panic disorder

• Perinatal problems including postnatal depression
